Fiery Command Workstation Questions

Two Questions regarding Fiery Command Workstation (we have a Xerox J75):

1) How can I load 2 tiff files into the held queue and then turn them into 1 job as a single sheet front and back? It appears that merge jobs would be an option but it is not available on tiff files but does appear for pdf files (at least that's what I'm seeing).
2) Is there any way to check the estimated time remaining on a job? I'm seeing the progress in terms of number of copies remaining, but not an estimate of number of minutes remaining. Would be nice.

Thanks!

Thanks. We actually are using the tiff files in order to flatten the original pdf for full control of transparency flattening. Would really like to be able to simply throw both tiffs in the Hold queue and combine or something. Anybody have a solution for this (besides combining into a pdf)?

I suppose pdf to tiff to flatten to pdf is an option but not my preference.

I will merge them in InDesign, it will be better. Or as msaeger said, open it and then send them using the print driver and then combine on CWS.

1. you need a compose license to do this. If you have it right click on one of the tiff's and choose compose. From one of the menus there is a merge page option. I've only done this for pdf's but I think it should work the same for tiffs.

2. there isn't a good way for it to give time left. I wish it would give the time elapsed since it started. There is another application called firey ticker that I think shows time left. I also think the fiery go app for your phone will show it. So it seems odd command workstation doesn't show it.
