EFI has launched a new Fake News / GAFFE (Graphic Arts Faux Front Ends) operating system and NOCRAP detector for Fiery.

Utilizing core Fiery elements, GAFFE’s patented NOCRAP detector (Null Output Corrective Readability Application Plug-in) is an intuitive, cloud-based scrubber for fake news that plagues printing jobs & news feeds.
NOCRAP spans a wide spectrum of devices & news feeds, filtering out information that has not been independently corroborated.

EFI officials are excited about the mass-market opportunities for both web & mobile. EFI is also working closely with Twitter to produce a platform-specific version to filter out fake news and falsehoods from Tweets.

According to an EFI spokesperson, the age of fake news is upon us, and this new server will allow printers to sell NOCRAP to their customers as a premium service.

Thanks for posting PR.... WOW this is big news! I just got an update on this via EFI twitter feed. An upcoming 2.0 release is already in the works and will add an additional filter for "very fake news" which will deal exclusively with CNN content. It will be a separate plug-in named MAGA (media always goes awry). They have requested that all efi fiery users tweet about this including the hashtag #MAGA to raise awareness of the CNN very fake news filter.
