Long time reader, first time poster. Trolled around awhile but it's my turn to ask some stupid rediculous question.
I have a fiery S300 designed for the Konica/Minolta 50C-K. The printer is no longer around but I still have the fiery rip. I've tried reinstalling all the fiery software using the discs that came with the fiery (unfortunately supplied by Konica/Minolta). When the fiery powers up it always asks to "Check power and cable connection 50C-K". I have setup the printer I want the fiery to function with via parallel and set the options correctly within the fiery and the printer but the fiery just asks for the 50C-K. I can print over the network to other printers although it obviously comes out like garbage since it's lacking drivers.
The real question is, is there generic fiery software I can intall that will allow ME to specify which printer I want to use or is this box basically a worthless piece of machinery now? Thanks guys.
