Hello everybody!

Sorry if this is not the correct category to post this

We need all advise how you can help us as we are absolutely beginner in
flexographic photopolymer plate making.
Our printshop The Keskeny and Co. Print Ltd. ( Keskeny és Társai Nyomdaipari Kft. )
is one of the largest sheetfed offset plant in Hungary. We are running
with Heidelberg presses with coaters inline for aqueos and UV coat .(
Chamber doctor blade system with different raster rollers).

The formats are B/1 , B/2 , B/3 how we can varnish, maximum size is 1048x800 mm.
We plant to make the flexographic photopolymer plates in house by the
most economical way. Currently we own a Bacher 3086 typ. lighting box
with an MH 5KW lamp inside.

We used to copy the conventional offset plate in it. It would be great to copy the polyester based plates too with this equipment (but of course with some modifications, lamp, ect). Then wash off with water.

What do you think on this process ? Can it be a viable solution ? What
are the advantages and the disadvantages of our plan ?
Quality wise , size wise , metall backed or polyester back ???
Quality wise we need fine line works for varnishing and accurate register!
Which system can be perfect for us ? The Dupont Cyrell , Flint nyloflex
, Toray , Asahi ....

We are ready to listen to all advises within this process and learn the
best , flexible and most econimical way to make photopolymer varnishing
plates.
