Free Advertising for Letterpress Items

My printers' nostalgia website "Metal Type" has a "Free Ads" section where letterpress-related items can be advertised For Sale or Wanted.

Adverts can contain photographs and automatically expire after 90 days. Once approved, ads are displayed on most site pages, and details are sent to the site's mailing list. Although UK-based the site has an international audience.

@Metal Type Dave - may I recommend you secure your site (obtain a SSL certificate which will give you an https:// URL)
Most modern browsers warn traffic away from non-secure sites and search engines tend to ignore them or rank them at the lowest order.

@Ynot_UK What you are saying makes sense. It is something I have been putting off doing for some time.

I've been doing a little research and plan to get the site secured in the next week or so. My host already provides a certificate on the Cpanel and most of the site is Wordpress, so a plugin should do the job.

I'll post on here when the job has been done! Thanks for the prompt!

You should also be able to do a free SSL via cPanel/your host. Our sister company does this all the time for their hosted clients.
