FSC CoC for house stock

I'm wondering... if an FSC certified printer changed it house stock to FSC paper, and used it on all jobs regardless if the FSC logo was used on any printed material, would the inventory and invoices, ect, all have to reflect the same scrutiny as special ordered stock that would print with the FSC logo and CoC number?

Only the stock you print the logo on would be scrutinized. My understanding is that if you buy a whole skid of an FSC Certified paper you need to keep that separated from similar paper that you print the logo on. The stock you print the logo on must have all the skid or stock information including batch numbers.

FSC is only interested in tracking finished products with the logo on it. This "identifies" it with being FSC certified. As an environmental print consultant and FSC Auditor I have noticed alot of jobs go through without the logo and in my personal opionion these should be counted if all other criterias in th chain have been met, however as you can appreciate this would be difficult to mandate as the logo with the cert number identifies the printers and hence the chain can be tracked backwards to it's beginings.
