Fuser Belt Failure

Howdy All,

Has anyone had a fuser belt fail on a Konica Minolta C6100? If you have, why? This failure happened while printing 8.5x11 20# bond stock, duplexed. Nothing complicated.

By fail I mean physically come apart and get jammed into the delivery side of the fuser. See images.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced something like this and if you know what caused it.

Thanks, Have a Good One,
J

Yes many times on our former 6085 (now gone). The technician had dropped the fuser (!) and refused a replacement while we had constant issues like above for a year. It can be caused by a tracking issue, could be a bad bearing or motor.

Hey
Yes we have C6100
Our tech guys replaced the fuser belt 6 times!! in 2 months.
It is known problem, instead of just giving a new fuser they just fixing it with new parts and it keeps failing after "X" prints.
