G7 Calibration PDF settings

I am currently attempting to get our school's Konica Minolta Bizhub C6000 G7 certified.

Our P2P25x target downloaded as the new Swop 2013 profile. Is that the profile we should be using as the document profile to output an initial run?

Please let me know if you need more information,

This is my first post and this is my first calibration attempt.

Thanks

Jake

You want to disregard the profile all together. In this situation you want to output the file as is, with no color conversion. Once you have completed the calibration process, then you can profile the result.

Thanks Rich.

Im starting to get more comfortable with the workflow. I went in making alot of assumptions and doing a trial and error approach, since we dont have any one hear who knows what they are doing. Ive had to piece together a process by what i find on the internet. and because this is for education there isn't really a strict time table on it.

The next issue I have run into:

I have created a calibration using the P2Px target. now I would like to create a profile from a IT8 target. Using i1 Profiler i'm attempting to import a txt file "Asset" in the test chart drop down.

However I can't seem to get it formatted for measuring in the correct size. and the file size is 27.9 x16.3

IT8.7-4 CMYK i1-i0 pm 5.0.7 (is the Pm for Profile Maker?) it is 2 sheets of 21 patches x 39

The test chart menu is looking for a .txf file
