G7 - Converting CIELab to ND

I can't find a calculator or spreadsheet to help me convert L*A*B* to neutral density. I'm trying to test G7 techniques in our environment before purchasing Curve3 to see if it would be worth our time and money.

I used to use ColorLab for this. Unfortunately, it doesn't run under Mountain Lion. In a Windows environment, I think you can still run it.

I'm pretty sure Babelcolor's CT&A will do this. Robin Meyers Imaging's SpectraShop may, also.

X-Rite’s ColorPort can also report spectral measurements as density when measuring via a supported device such as an i1 Pro.
