We have a cheap meter that we use about 2 X per month.
ETB-0686. Our meter reads the same as the coating rep's high dollar meter, no idea how long it would last if you used it everyday. We have had it for about 3 years. No complaints. We have compared it to the coating rep's meter a few times. It comes with a calibration plaque and is user friendly.
If you use a single angle geometry gloss meter, then geometry angle should be selected for the gloss level.
Are you measuring matte, normal, or glossy material?
