GMC PrintNet T and PDF Transparency

What method is being used to import PDF's for background art? Lets assume that the PDF's are created in InDesign and exported with standard PrePress settings (Standard PDF/X-4:2008 & Compatibility PDF 1.4). These are PDF's containing native transparencies. I believe the two options are "Place" or "Load Natively".

The bottom line is what method should be used to maintain native transparencies upon output. Output format is PDF/VT.

If you want to maintain the native transparencies, you will need to "Place". "Loading Natively" will convert the PDF into native elements within GMC, thus loosing any effects GMC doesn't support.

We did notice that option in the menus, but we can not select it. Should I assume that it is a chargeable upgrade/option?
