Going Big: How has large format printing transformed?

Which process? Homework? Revolutionised, from as I remember it 40 years ago, when (you may laugh) we had to do it ourselves, researching and immersing within the subject to compose a lengthy dissertation we knew intimately and actually understood. Whereas nowadays, students tend to post a one line question on an internet forum and expect professionals in given subject to do the work for them, so all they need do is copy and paste.
