I work for a Boston-based Children’s Book Publisher and I am currently looking for candidates for our spring internship program.

The Graphic Production intern will assist with:
• file preparation for book jackets/cover/interiors
• color correction
• image retouching
• reviewing color proofs
• template creation
• typesetting (flowing text and making copy-edits)
• basic layout and design
• handling reprints and various reuse projects
• generating barcodes

Great exposure for an undergrad student, or a recent college grad, looking for real-time experience. This is an unpaid internship.

I can provide all the specifics to anyone interested, please send me a PM.

Hello,

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst looking for a spring internship this year. Are you still looking for an intern? The opportunity you posted sounds great.
