Hi All
Why would you use a grey back vinyl as opposed to a black back vinyl ? on a large format printer with Eco-Solvent inks .

Black backed will totally blackout. Applying it, for example 2 sided 4mm coroplast yard sign that you don't want to see the back side when looking at the front. Especially when lit from the back.

Grey has some degree of blackout but not totally. Usually grey backed are air release, mean small groves of some design to release air. A big aid in applying wet.

Be aware grey or black, the white printing surface tends to be cooler. Clear adhesive is usually warmer but, if using a colored substrate it will show through.
