That is exactly correct. Highest resolution at the Rip produces highest quality.
Perhaps not best efficiency. For some, they would claim you cannot see it so don't bother wasting rip time and costs. For some jobs, I would insist on the higher resolution. We had to use ultra high when we did stamps plus with stamps there was a rule, "No Strokes allowed"!
