Horizon Bookletmaker Face Trimmer not working

I purchased a used Horizon vac-100 collator and spf-20 and put it in one of my shops. I have a Horizon MC-80 and spf-20 with the FC-20 face trimmer in another shop. I moved the FC-20 face trimmer to the other shop with the Vac-100. There was a jumper on pin 15 and 16 that I removed and plugged it in. Everything runs, but when I send a booklet through it stops in the FC-20 and does not trim and shows a jam. However the spf-20 and FC-20 do not turn off (my other spf-20 would turn off when there is a jam in the FC-20). If I clear the jam and turn the spf-20 off and on - I can use the jog button to cycle the blade. When I check the sensors on the board - they all light up and work. The driver shows power with no alarm.

Do i need to do something on the spf-20 to be able to run the FC-20 trimmer on it besides remove the jumper pin? Any suggestions for things to check on the FC-20?

I appreciate the help.

There are dip switches that accomplish the same thing as the jumper. They are very small and easy to miss on the main board. I will try to find my notes tomorrow one of those just probably needs to be changed. But you can take a picture of the working one and set the other one like that should fix it.

Thanks Adub - that will definitely help alleviate putting in the jumper when the cutter is not attached. Are there any other dip swtiches that need to be changed to get the cutter to cut? The belts will run and a booklet will feed into the cutter, but it won't cut the book. It then shows a jam. After clearing the jam - the inch button will feed the cutter blade and all the sensors appear to be working and the driver shows power with no alarms.
