OVERVIEW
ABCO has an opening for an Indigo Press Operator. This is a full time, permanent opportunity for qualified candidates. The position involves operation and maintenance of an HP Indigo Digital Press in a fast paced, rewarding environment.
KEY OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Overall responsibility for all aspects of the print process, including: Production, Quality & Maintenance
• Targeted reduction in waste of all forms (time, materials, labor)
• Effectively communicate with supervisor, tech support and other team members
• Follow established process to ensure that products are produced to quality standards
• Responsible for routine machine maintenance
• Help maintain adequate stock levels of consumables
• Excellent attention to detail and quality
• Flexible and adaptable to change
QUALIFICATIONS
• 1 or more years Operating Indigo Press
• Ability to work overtime as business needs require
• Experience with downstream processes in bindery
• Color management experience a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
• Computer literacy and skill
• Solid problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills written, electronic and oral
• Reliable and punctual
