I need your advice on configuring the Ryobi 924 (2012) with the PCS-G system. Our print shop recently acquired this machine, and we’re having difficulty setting up the AI control.
Here are the issues we’ve encountered:
1. We haven’t been able to get the system to automatically switch between color mode/conversion curve/handwriting input program (screenshot 1).
2. We’re unable to interpret the values from the reference table (screenshot 2).
3. We’ve run into trouble configuring the threshold value for automatic curve selection (screenshot 3).
We’ve read the user manual, we have the *.DEM files (screenshots 4a, 4b), and we have an experienced press operator. We also gathered some statistics on task performance using manual correction (screenshot 5). As shown in screenshot 5, we were able to achieve our goals with manual adjustments, but we haven’t been able to replicate the same results in automatic mode. We must be missing some small but critical parameter(s) that are preventing us from using the full functionality of the system.
We would greatly appreciate any advice!
