But do you have a supporting software version? Coz, I came across a friend of mine who borrowed an i1 Display Pro to test, but has issues with the software version shipped with it. He is using Mac OD 10.8.5. Is there a compatible software version from X-rite?

The i1 Display Pro acts as a hardware key for i1 Profiler. It gives you access to the monitor profiling capabilities. I am running i1 Profiler on OS 10.8.5 without problems. Has he downloaded the latest version?
