Imaging speed of a PlateRite4100

We are looking at picking up a used unit but I cannot get a straight answer on this and I am wondering if anybody out there knows for sure.

According to the brochure this unit can make 10 plates/hr at 2,400 dpi 28.5" x 24.2.

We have a speedmaster with 14 x 20, does that mean that I will be able to make plates faster since my plate is smaller or should I plan on getting 10 plates/hr at 2,400 dpi?

The speed of imaging is high, but it takes a constant time to load and unload the plate. Do not expect dramatical increase of the thoughput of the machine. It is possible 1-2 plates more, but...not more
