As an Implementation and Support Engineer at Pageflex you will work with customers to configure, implement as well as support and maintain the Pageflex suite of products. This is a client facing position that will require managing several ongoing projects of varying sizes and scope. The ideal candidate will identify specific business requirements, configure software to meet those requirements, and work with the customers to ensure a successful product implementation. Engagements can range from an hour long Webex to install the software to repeated site visits to work with the client’s infrastructure and application teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver successful product implementations to clients satisfaction
• Identify and document business requirements and objectives that affect product configuration and installation. Create thorough functional specifications for custom work.
• Develop an intimate knowledge of our technologies including the way in which they can interact with external systems
• Provide timely status reports for milestones and project deliverables
• Deliver customized process and procedure training
• Some travel is required (up to 50%)
Highly Desired Skills and Knowledge:
• 3 - 6 years of experience with software product implementations
• Comfortable working with complex network environments
• Experience with client/server applications and SQL Server databases
• Understanding of key technology concepts including: project lifecycle, relational databases, networks.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and planning skills
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience with the needs of the print industry preferred but not required
