Importing Preps Templates for Trueflow 7.0

We just installed a PR 4300 along with Trueflow. Doing Templates in Flatworker is too difficult and time consuming. I've been using Preps 5 with a Creo Lotem for years Preps is so much more logical and simple with smart marks work and turn features.

Has anyone been able to use preps templates with Trueflow??

Help, Please LOL !:)

Hi Duncan,

I might be a bit late with the reply but I have beeen using Preps JDF templates in Trueflow SE. If you are still interested please let me know.

Thanks for the reply,

So i guess i need to print my templates from preps as JDF format? then import to trueflow

Thanks

Duncan

Yeah basically you create an imposition in Preps and print as JDF, then in Trueflow go to START- TRUEFLOW SE - MAINTENANCE TOOLS - OPEN IMPOSITION INTERFACE and then locate the JDF file and SAVE..

This then becomes available in Trueflow
