indigo quality

Hey all, I am a indigo 7000 operator. When i run a job that is 1/1 or 1/0 the density will not be consistant throughout
the run. Those are usually large runs over a few thousand pieces.Any idea's how to stay consistant?????
I do maintain my machine well, keeping it tip top is good for quality...new brushes,pip,blanket,etc......

What metric do you use to determine consistency?
What tolerance for deviation have you defined (all systems vary).
How do your tolerances compare with the Indigo maufacturer's specifications (assuming they have published them).

best, gordo

When I was running a 5500 I noticed that when you had a CSR sign off the color after running the color would change. Normally on darker blues that were heavy on ink. I noticed if I changed the color on the fly it would hold through out the run. You also need to make sure the machine does not do color calibrations during the run.
