ipm vs ppm

Hi!
I have a problem with understanding explanation of a speed of two machines: Xerox 7000 and Kodak M700 in duplex mode, A4, color (4/4) without slowing down....
Xerox claims 70 ppm (pages per minute) up to 300 g
Kodak claims 70 ipm (images/imprssions per minute) up to 300g

I am confused ipm or ppm how to campare these values?
Thanks!

They both are running with same printing speed 70 A4 4/0 impressions per minute. Basically printing speeds should always be in ipm, because duplex production is twice as slow then printing speed.

I believe ipm and ppm mean the same thing. Because a page is one side of a sheet.
