I might have the opportunity to fit the ITB on a QM 46-2 press. Even if I don't, it would be good to know some details about this press since there are so many of them around.

I need to get an idea of how the ductor roller is engaged and disengaged. When the ductor roller is off and sitting against the first roller in the roller train, is it held there in place with an air activated cylinder or electrical solenoid or by some other means?

Thanks for any help in describing the functions.
