Hi folks,
I'm looking for some recommendations for paper available within the EU.
specifically the following:
- Textured off-white/ivory/cream cover stock. 250-360gsm. SRA3. We have some very old stock Paperlinx Ivory White which is great, but no longer available. It has a kind of hammered/imprinted grain which looks & feels almost leathery when printed with solid colour. In terms of texture I want to use it as a cover for a reproduction of a very old book, it needs to have a nice premium/old school feel to the touch. Think also along the lines of fancy diploma certificates.
- off-white/ivory/cream sheets for the book signatures. 80-120gsm. SRA3. Again - think of an old book with that kinda vintage colour cream sheet. Ideally the texture would feel a little bit rough as well like an old book, and certainly not slippery or synthetic feeling like a coated glossy sheet does.
I've been looking at various options but a lot of them seem to be available only in huge offset sizes and not SRA3. And some of the options the prices were kinda insane.
So if anyone has any suggestions for substrates along the above lines, which aren't insanely expensive, and are easily available in the EU, i'd love to hear it.
I'm printing onto them with a Ricoh C5310 if that matters.
