KBA 106 Rapida - Front Gate Rubbing #12 Rider Roller

Is this a normal thing? We're getting lots of ink building up on back of gate. Can't get any answers from KBA. Press is 3 years old and several units have this issue.

This problem should be obvious -

Excessive dampening system feedback causing "Ink Slinging" and over emulsification on inking roller train !

Alois, looks like his roller is skidding against the gaurd.
For an operator to continue running a machine once they have seen such an issue is wrong. For a operator to continue running a machine until its in this appalling state shows a complete lack of care for the owners equipment. Some operator's look after the press they run as if it was their own. While others couldnt care less as they dont own the equipment.

We have a 2012 KBA 106 and we have same issue. This IS a Design flaw. Finding many flaws with this press

Its not a design flaw, its as stated by Alois, its over emulsification and ink slinging and also lack of care by the pressman.

NO,,,,,,,it IS a design flaw. This press has MANY FLAWS!
I run it EVERYDAY! The gate is TOO CLOSE TO THE ROLLER!!

So please do tell us what the distance is !!!! between the guard and the said roller

is it 1mm are 5mm or even 25 mm - or even Microns? Insert a "Metric Feeler Gauge" The average thickness of the Ink

Film is only 3/5 microns.
