KM AccurioPress C4070 or Ricoh ProC5300S or Canon Imagepress v700 or Fujifilm ApeosPro C650

Hi all, need some opinions on the following printers. KM AccurioPress C4070 or Ricoh ProC5300S or Canon Imagepress v700 or Fujifilm ApeosPro C650. I need to replace my KM C1070 as here in Australia it has come to it's end of life (no longer being supported by KM) & unfortunately I don't know how to repair printer. (bummer because it's running perfectly at the moment but how long is a piece of string)
I run approx 8 -15k SRA3 a month 95% colour. Saddle finisher and tight registration needed. All feed back would be appreciated. All units would come with manufacturers maintenance agreement (except Canon service thru agent) I know that the KM is old series and new model coming out this year - similar with the Ricoh but could wait until new models come out a bit later this year

following... most of these models are on my shortlist of replacements to our Xerox Versant 4100.

edit... nevermind, these are a step below our current equipment, but I'd still like to hear

I don’t think the models being due for a successor is of much consequence…indeed the KM rep tried to hold this against the Ricoh 7210 we eventually settled on…it was still I think another 2 years before Ricoh put out the 7500 and as far as I can tell not really a major difference. I 100% prefer a mature machine to being the beta tester / first in the market, and let’s be honest…none of the machines in this segment are expected to be making leaps in advancement with a new model.

I’m super happy with our Ricoh, but selected offline booklet making (duplo dbm150)…zero regrets, duplo has been bulletproof and the Ricoh “just runs,” and we see our tech maybe every 6-8 weeks, never down very long. No experience with the 5300 series.

I have a v900, registration and color/quality are excellent but you will need the sensing unit. Mine has a bookletmaker on it and the booklet maker does give me a good bit of problems, but I believe they just came out with a newer BM to pair with it. Overall I am very happy with the machine. I have a Ricoh 5300 as well, I would still go with the v700 if I was in your shoes

Thanks for replies so far - reason waiting for new models is that the existing models would only have 4-5 years service left from supplier (that's what happened to my C1070 when 10yrs came up no longer serviced from KM, had purchased 2nd hand) If buying a new printer would want at least 8-10yrs service.

I prefer a lease, after 4-5 years of solid use most digital printers are ready to be retired anyway, and they won’t be worth anything secondhand. I used to be somewhere that preferred the opposite approach, and would just fight equipment and service all day long, and pay greatly higher click charges. YMMV

Going through this exact situation right now. The real tipping point is that the costings make more sense on the canon than either fo the other options. Spoken to another store who has 2 v900 (one having done 600000 since December) and he's looking now at a v1000.
