Konica Minolta’s Ramsey headquarters—employing 474 people & approximately 191,000 Sq.’—is expanding with a 29,400- Sq.’ addition, the lease of additional space and increased parking.
This expansion is expected to create an additional 400 jobs, stimulate business growth and support the local community. KM currently employs over 8,100 people in North America, with sales and service in more than 150 countries and approximately 44,000 employees, worldwide. The planned expansion amounts to a $20 million investment by KM, benefiting the state of NJ by $65 million over 20 years.
The expansion is helped, in part, by a Grow NJ tax credit of up to $29 million, approved by the NJ Economic Development Authority (NJEDA). According to KM, the Ramsey location is ideal for attracting talent from the tri-state area.
