Large roll adapters?

Has anyone ever seen any type of third party item that will allow my inkjet printer to accommodate rolls larger than what they can actually take?

For example, I'd like to put a roll of paper on there that is 150 pounds in weight. I am picturing some kind of stand that sits somewhere behind/below the printer that feeds the paper up and through.

Also, can anyone see a downside to doing this?

150 pounds is a lot of weight. I would expect it to be too much drag on the stepper motor that advances the paper.

Ahh... never thought of that. You are right, I'm sure I'd be getting sensor errors out the wazoo.
