Latest version of Nexus, thoughts

We are looking into upgrading to the AE14 package but would like to get some feed back from people that have this new RIP currently in use in production (not just bench testing) in the offset printing world.

What are the pros/cons to switching to the new RIP system?
Anything we should be aware of?

I never used Nexus so I cannot compare. I moved to AE from another vendor's prepress suite. I have had no issues with FlexRIP as long as the files are "ESKO normalized" in the workflow. ImagingEngine, the replacement for FlexRIP (in your case the replacement for the replacement) currently does not have CIP3 support so we're holding out on upgrading that portion of our workflow.
