The suppliers that I've found that carry the ink sheets for the now defunct Latran 1420 proofer don't carry the finish laminate sheets. The ink sheets are worthless without the laminate sheets so my question is, does anyone know of a supplier for this consumable?
Also I have read that the Kodak Approval Pre-Laminate might work as a substitute with the Latran ink sheets with some adjustment to the laser. If anyone has tried this please let me know the results. We are trying to extend the life of this otherwise good proofing system, but as we are fast running out of consumables it will quickly turn into a boat anchor. Thanks for your help.
