Swiss Review—a bi-monthly, Swiss government magazine for citizens living abroad—has been published for 42 years in 14 regional editions in German, French, Italian, English and Spanish. In 2014, management decided their printed magazine must be replicated verbatim & available across different channels & platforms.
While PDF was being used, it had limitations on smartphones, and the Swiss wanted readers to be able to access content whenever & wherever they wanted. A mobile content publishing app appealed because of user-friendliness, enabling readers to tailor settings, push notifications, preferences & was accessible on all devices.
