Looking for a Wide-format and Specialty Printing Technician

Given the cost of equipment, materials, organizational impact, and lead/supervisory responsibilities that job should be $70k/year or more. At the advertised pay level I'd expect struggle to find qualified applicants and a steady drain of employees to nearby private sector employers.

That being said, if the job includes health benefits, lots of paid time off, free tuition, or anything like that, you should document that info since it might offset the low pay for some candidates.

Listed salary range equates to about $17-22/hr. You can easily find a job in Utah making that amount, in retail/admin - without any specialized skills/experience. Really gonna be tough to fill this position long term with that kind of range.

Point me in the direction of private sector print provider that will pay me $70k plus all the benefits that this job posting is providing, and I will gladly close up my shop and work for them.

I mean, we're talking about a public sector job. But regardless, a quick search on indeed.com shows me a dozen print production jobs within 100 miles of 90210 that pay 70k+ with benefits. I'm currently hiring for one in AK and my pay scale tops out at about 70k, and I am currently working MY bosses to allow me to up that because it's hard to retain quality people - they leave us for better paying jobs.

Based on a quick Indeed search in UT, it seems like the pay for most print operator jobs are in line with the OP's job listing. However, I did find one management position in UT with $70k+ salary and benefits in case you're ready to close up shop @TJPrinter ! 😜

I'm in southern CA and most print operator jobs are $20-$30/hr with benefits. This higher hourly rate in CA is only a recent increase due to the minimum wage in CA increasing to $20/hr for fast food chains, and $16.50 everywhere else.
