Magnetic Substrates for HP Indigo 5500

Hey.. I am new on here and tried to see if any posts were made on this subject.. I hope this isnt a duplicate..

I am looking to find out what substrates that are magnetic are suitable for the HP Indigo 5500. I have heard of Magnecote and Magnum Magnetics, but havent heard more than the names. Do they work? Are they HP certified? Are they easy to run? Any "riggin" needed? Where to buy from? etc. etc.

Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

Re: Magnetic Substrates for HP Indigo 5500

Hi There,

You cannot run anything magnetized through the 5500. You need to run the substrates through and then put them through a magnetizing machine after the fact. The issue that we see is the fact that it's tedious to run a sheet at a time.
