Man Roland 300 Plate Size Questions

According to specs on the Man Roland 300, max length is 660 mm (26").

When we installed a CTP, the plate size required by the 300 was actually 675 mm (26.6").

Is it possible to adjust the trailing clamp to put the machine back to published spec?

I have a Roland 300 US format, and the plate size is 660 x 740 mm.
