WTT posted a video called the Missed Connection at Graph Expo. I guess the intention was to be funny but is it?

If this was a planned joke, then that is one thing but if the events were true, as they say, then I find this very troubling.
The story goes that there was a mix up with scheduling and therefore there was no one to interview Marc Olin. Some poor guy volunteered to do the interview and made a big mess of it due to the fact that he was not knowledgeable and not skilled in this task.
So WTT thought it would be a good idea to post this mess. Yes it was funny but why post it?
So what does WTT say about this performance. Well they suggested that the guy would be fired. What is wrong with this picture?
The fault lies with the management of WTT on many accounts. One, they messed up on the schedule. Two they posted the messed up interview, which they could easily not post. Third, they blame the poor guy for the mess and maybe fired him after publicly humiliating him to all the world. It is WTT management's responsibility to use a competent interviewer. And then other commenters laugh at him.
Unfortunately this mirrors and reflects on the management quality and values of the printing industry. Too easy to blame workers for management faults. Too easy to humiliate people who are powerless.
In the end, it was not really that funny and I suspect that the poor guy has cause to sue WTT for the willful and mean effort to embarrass him.
