Moore has announced the acquisition of Tri-State Envelope—an industry leader specializing in custom, high-color, envelope manufacturing.
With this latest purchase, Tri-State becomes the 4th envelope manufacturing company Moore has added to its portfolio. Others include: St. Louis Print Group, Worcester Envelope Company and Richmond Print Group.
This acquisition comes after the employees of Tri-State Envelope’s ESOP (employee stock ownership plan), voted overwhelmingly to approve the transaction. The company will operate as Tri-State Envelope. Financial details were not disclosed.
Based in Ashland, PA—with additional manufacturing facilities in Iowa & Maryland—Tri-State will expand Moore’s supply chain stability through increased capacity, redundancy and location diversification. With multi-state locations, Tri-State has the capacity to manufacture 20 million envelopes daily. Learn more about Moore
