I'm Back.
We just finished getting our training with PowerTrapper and the new version of Powerlayout.
UGGH
Not to happy where training left us. We could not use the new PowerLayout 12 because it kept freezing up on us.
Had to go to v10.
Here are some of the other problems we are having.
When we open up a Powerlayout file, our CAD is not showing up. If we close it and reopen it - ITs there!
When we export out an embedded Normalized PDF and go to create 1 bit tifs, we have and sometimes more, multiply channels of cmyk and whatever spots we are running. They are also running at different line screens and angles. When we try to make them all common and correct colors, angles and line screen in the color window, it errors out with a color remapping error. If we leave it as is, we get different screen angles showing up in our color bars, work, text, etc... on one plate.
We have a call into Esko 3 days ago and have not heard back.
Any feed back would be most appreciated.
