Myriad Pro font substituting .. for example a copyright symbol is changing to an A

with a line over it ? the TM symbol as well only on some lots on some computers .. purchased Font finagler hope it helps with the cashes

Substituting under what circumstances?

Has the Creative Suite been updated on the computers in question? Myriad Pro is one of the fonts that you have the option of installing with Adobe products.

Font caches are another suspect. You don't need Font Finagler to clear the font cache.

we are using all versions of CS up to 5.5 ( and beta testing CS6 photoshop) its substituting on SOME computers in the legal copy which could be extremely costly if not caught..

Myriad Pro is an Open Type font. Open Type fonts have their own contextual menu in the character palletes of most adobe programs. I just found this out yesterday and worked through my issues with the font Bickham Script Pro. I wish I could be more helpful, but I've only just discovered this. It's something worth looking at at least.
