Hi everybody

I'm curently playing with a thought where i need to get running a programm outside of nexus.
The java-gateway would be great for my solution, but I have no experience in it.

Do you have some experience with the module?
i cant find any documentation about it, nor anybody who tried it.

the main questions about it are:
-how to implement the script to run
-possibilities to transfer some parameters from nexus (filename, filepath or similar)
-how does it run (system-level/job specific (sandbox inside of the running job?))

Can you not just copy the file to a hotfolder for the other application.

Thats what we would do with GMG for example.

Don't you have a Nexus manual?
Here is what it says about it:
The Java Activity allows to run a Java application.
This Java application can take over the control of a workflow, based
on any input, e.g. a dbase. For more detailed information, please
contact EskoArtwork. In the Java Activity, the only parameter is the
path to the Java application.
