We are currently having the issues below with the Nikka Inspection system Alis C1A-330 unit-
1)The machine is not able to identify missing labels.
2)It does not generate a roll report after completion of the inspection.
It was working with a Prati Saturn TE 330 R 2097 ,2010. Having read the specifications released by the Nikka manufacturer it should be able to detect typical printing defects like color change, broken or missing print, ink spots and streaks, register change, matrix, splices and missing labels.
We have been in touch with the support agent in Germany who say they no longer support the unit due to age. We know from experience many manufacturers have the same policy. A solution to resolve the issues is generally found by an experienced engineer, technician, end user not associated with the manufacturer.
Can anyone offer an explanation for the above issues being experienced? or who have come across the issues before and steps taken to resolve these.
