Offset Web Printing Press Operator/Helper
King Printing Solutions is searching for an experienced offset web press operator with a strong background in the manufacturing of business forms, pressure seal documents and 50” high color rolls.
Full Job Description:
- Completes make-ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling and anilox rollers are used.
- Responsible for operating high-quality products using RDP offset web presses (6-color & 10-color) in accordance with customer specification white maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency
- Maintains consistent quality during the production run with critical quality checks including copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion to ensure conformance to all other quality checks.
- Accurately records time and materials for each job and is accountable for equipment maintenance
- Diagnoses problems, make press adjustments, troubleshoots, and provides the required maintenance to equipment in a timely manner
- Cleans plate, cylinder, glue units, ink pans and lubricates press as needed
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment and area by completing daily housekeeping assignments
- Monday – Friday
Qualifications:
- High School or Equivalent (Preferred)
- Minimum 3 years Printing Experience (Preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License
