I was just wondering if anyone was doing the scanning of old books, but without destroying the original (chopping off the spine is a definite no-no).
What kind of hardware is needed? There seems to be a bewildering array of scanners and cameras with darkrooms on the web and I'd like to hear the pros/cons.
