The Best of Show Awards program acknowledges innovative technologies in 10 categories.
“The mix of digital technology and software offerings from Xerox and XMPie help print providers decrease costs and increase revenues,” said Eric Armour, president, Xerox Global Business and Strategic Marketing Group. “These industry-leading products drive growth for our customers, even in the most challenging economic environments.”
Xerox captures three awards
Xerox FreeFlow Express to Print won Best of Show in the Workflow Solutions category. The software uses an intuitive and highly visual interface which allows customers to view and prepare jobs at their desktop, ensuring accuracy before submitting to print. The software also includes predefined templates that eliminate the previously labor-intensive task of setting up each job individually.
Xerox’s iGen4 press was distinguished with an honorable mention in the Innovative Use of Technology category. The automation capabilities of the iGen4 press enable faster time to press and less operator intervention for all types of print jobs, making it the most productive and highest-quality cut-sheet digital color press in the industry.
Within the Monochrome Digital Printing Equipment category, Xerox’s Nuvera 200 EA system earned an honorable mention. The system is built on the award-winning Xerox Nuvera 288 Perfecting Production System platform and gives print providers a competitive advantage with productivity and image quality.
XMPie software takes center stage
PersonalEffect 4.6 was recognized with Best of Show honors in the 1:1 Communications category. The software now provides support for Adobe® CS4, so XMPie users can leverage state-of-the-art design capabilities to push the creative envelope of one-to-one cross-media campaigns.
An honorable mention in the Web-to-Print category went to uStore 3.5, which debuted at the show. It features cross-media capabilities that allow site visitors to choose, customize and produce print and e-mail campaigns, as well as the capability to issue coupons.
