BillerudKorsnäs—a Swedish provider of packaging solutions—in conjunction with World Oceans Day, is encouraging action against ocean litter in a series of U.S. events For A Sustainable Future—Challenge 2018.
The events will bring together business leaders & consumers as part of their mission to challenge conventional packaging. They will address findings from a global panel of more than 3,000 consumers who found ocean litter among their top 3 concerns.
Earlier this year, BillerudKorsnäs introduced the D-Sack, a dissolvable sack for cement & construction materials. Similar to detergent pods tossed into washing machines, this paper sack goes into cement mixers with its contents & dissolves during the mixing process, eliminating packaging waste.
