Hello, i'm on the way to open printshop here in Florida.
And question is what do you recomend to buy inside USA for packaging in less that usd 100k?
I'm watching Astro-Nova TPX or Ijet Colour and Kirk-Rudy.
What do you recomend and you using?
I need for paper bags, cotton bags, pizza boxes and envelopes.
Thank you for your recomendations.

I guess it depends on what type/size of packaging you're trying to print. Based on the models you suggested, those look like smaller units. They were originally meant for printing envelopes, but they modified the feeder and allowed the print head to raise up to print on small pre-made boxes. We have the Postmark RapidColor 1170 Pro which can print on cardboard boxes too, but we only use for printing envelopes. We also produce our own smaller boxes by printing on a 12pt C1S, laminate on our DryLam, then cut out on our Morgana SC6000 die cutter.

If you're wanting larger, Konica Minolta sells the PKG-1300. I don't know the price point, but I have seen them show it at tradeshows without the auto-feeder and auto-stacker. Someone was just hand feeding in boxes and they were falling into a bin on the other side. This might help it fit into your budget if you don't have high volume, and you can add the feeding/stacking automation after your business grows.
