Paste Bind ?'s for Bindery folk

Hey all
I'm the job planner and have come up with a layout that I'm not positive how to provide.
My bindery guy is out this morning and I have a paste bind question.
This is for a 20 page self cover, 5.5 x 8.5, sheet size is 24x36.
I can give bindery an 8 and a 12 or 16 and 4pg impo.
The 12 would roll fold but can't do that on a 16.
How would you tackle this.

I should've known this was going to be an error when the job was written up. Ya can't paste bind a 20pg book...12 maybe, 8 maybe. 20 - not!
