A number of forum members have been hit by an extortion letter sent by an alleged patent troll (see this thread: http://printplanet.com/forums/prepress-workflow-discussion/31080-license-infringement-letter). The issue was discussed at the "Protecting Small Businesses and Promoting Innovation by Limiting Patent Troll Abuse" hearing in Washington DC December 17, 2013.
