Polar 76EM

I have a Polar 76EM that is currently showing its cutting units in cm and I would like to change it to mm. It does have mm capability as it displayed mm before we installed a new solonoid that reverted the units to cm. I have used the m/" button but it only changes it between cm and inches. Does anyone have any ideas at all?

Hi!

The machine comes with a set of electrical drawings. These are in general four pages. The first page shows a view of the units inside the electrical cabinet underneath the table. On the left side of this drawing you see the power supply unit. In the center you see the motherboard and the individual electronic boards. In the center of this drawing and all the way on the bottom is the board IAR shown. There are as well two little switches shown.
Before using these switches use the main switch to switch the machine off. Be careful with the flat cables.

Thanks for the reply - are you saying that if we flick these 2 switches the opposite way we will be able to see the units in mm instead of cm's?

Yes!

One switch is changing between cm and mm and the other switch is changing between metric and imperial system.

I also need manual/servicemanual for this (Polar 76 EM year 1995)? Can somebody help me?? Pls

Hi pVeli!

On the board IAR you have two switches. The upper switch is to change between the measurement units.
Why do you need a service manual? What is the problem?

Problem is that we just bought that guillotine and only book was partbook. So we need information about blade change, how to use programs, what happens what we pres buttons, etc etc...

Go back to the second hand dealer and kill him. By law his has to sell machines with correct documentation.
If the second hand dealer is already killed by his last customer, I need an Email address and the machine number.
